Indiana Bloggers Back to School Blog Hop

Who is excited to go back to school???  I never thought I would say this, but I am!!!  As a lot of you know I am changing grades this year.  I am leaving 2nd and moving to 1st and I just can't stop thinking about it.  I am really nervous, but I know it is going to be so much fun.

I have teamed up with some fellow Indiana Bloggers for a Back to School Blog Hop.  Make sure you follow it all the way through for your chance to win gift card!  Who doesn't LOVE a gift card?

Teaching Through Turbulence

If you started at the beginning of the hop you just came from Teaching Through Turbulence.  I have to give Heather major props because she is a Special Education teacher who works with children with Emotional Disabilities.  That can be a tough group of kiddos.  You have to have a good heart and a lot of patience (patience is NOT one of my strong suits, but I am working on it).  She has a lot of great ideas that can be incorporated with your mainstreamed kiddos.  Check her out!

So the beginning of the year is a time where you want everything to be perfect!  At least that is how I view it.  I would say the most important things to have in place are organization, routine, and behavior plans.

I have created some really cute Owl Themed Agenda Signs to help you with the routine aspect.  Students thrive off of a routine.  They love to see what they have done and what is left to do.  So grab up these freebies and you will be well on your way to a great year.

Now I would like to share my absolute FAVORITE creation.  I have gone a little lemonade ga-ga this summer.  I created a comprehensive pack of Classroom Management Tools.  You can check out the post about it HERE.  It is a mix of individual and whole class behavior plans.  I try to use a positive approach and I think you will agree that I hit the nail on the head with this one.

I really want to thank you for stopping by.  Stay tuned for my blog makeover reveal coming soon!  I can't wait to see the finished product.  I hope you have a wonderful year!

Next stop on the hop is Pencils, Books, & Dirty Looks!

  2. Your lemonade management pack is just SO cute. I usually do a lemonade stand with my class at the end of the year, so I will definitely keep that in mind if I end up with a job this year!
