As a mom and teacher I am not kidding when I say these are one of the greatest items to add to your craft collection.
I was introduced to Kwik Stix at the French Lick Blogger Meet-up in March. The Pencil Grip, Inc was kind enough to give each attendee a free set. When I read the label I thought these are too good to be true.
I'm going to break down each reason why I LOVE these and also show you a little project I did with my own kids.
If you have ever painted with children you know that it can be MESSY! I have let my own kids have a free for all with paint brushes and it never fails that they are covered in paint all over their bodies. I even make sure to remove all clothing prior to painting.
With Kwik Stix I didn't worry about them making a mess. I even had my kids in nice clothes. They kept the paint on the paper and didn't get one smudge on themselves.
I call that a win!
My son has Cerebral Palsy and has difficulty gripping things due to fine motor issues. These are like oversized tubes of lipstick and perfect for little hands or for those struggling with fine motor.
I have given the information about these to both of my son's Occupational Therapists and believe it or not his Speech Therapist too. In the picture above we are doing speech homework and he is TOTALLY engaged. They think they are as amazing as I do.
I made myself laugh with this reason, but it is true. They glide so easily along the paper without much effort at all.
Kwik Stix did not skimp on the colors. They look just like liquid tempera paint. They are vibrant and true.
My kids had a blast creating a Father's Day project with them!
