The blades on my old sharpener are very dull and it chews up pencils! I would love to have a new one that works well!
ReplyDeleteOld one constantly clogged and literally broke off the wall.
ReplyDeleteMy electric one was always getting too hot and would just stop working! Plus my poor kiddos could never get the pencil in straight so it would always be slanted on one side.
ReplyDeleteMy old one is extremely loud and not kid friendly...it's also not nearly as cute at this hot pink one! :)
ReplyDeleteMy kids have no idea how to use the old one without clogging it up with pencil lead!! A new one like this would be awesome! :)
ReplyDeleteBreanne
It's just very loud!
ReplyDeleteMy other pencil sharpeners are loud and chew up all of our pencils.
ReplyDeleteEvery new teacher's dream sharpener
ReplyDeleteI would love a new sharpener!
ReplyDeleteMy other sharpener eats pencils & breaks down often.
ReplyDeleteI don't like that my old sharpener makes noise, eats pencils, and leaves them dull.

ReplyDeleteMy old pencil sharpener is loud and eats pencils!
ReplyDeleteWhere do I begin?!? So noisy and chews up the pencils like it is going out of style! Ugh!
ReplyDeleteSara
Old one is ugly and noisy...new one would be wonderful! I neeeeed the pink one! :)
ReplyDeleteMy pencil sharpener jams after a couple of uses. I end up going to the office to sharpen pencils.
ReplyDeleteMy old pencil sharpener is so loud, and it doesn't sharpen cheap pencils very well.
ReplyDeleteMy old sharpener resembles my clothes dryer.... my dryer eats socks and my sharpener eats pencils!
ReplyDeleteMy students hate when they have to use the traditional, school supplied pencil sharpener!
ReplyDeleteI hate that my old sharpeners break!! I go through 2 to 3 $50 sharpeners a year, and that's my own money!! UGH!!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win! I feel like I go through pencil sharpeners a few times a year!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity!

You never know if the sharpener will actually work or eat your pencil!
ReplyDeleteThey just plain and simple wear out! Especially when little ones get their hands on them:)
ReplyDeleteThese look amazing--could really use one in my classroom!
ReplyDeleteHate sharpening...
ReplyDeleteEvery electric pencil sharpener I have will stop when it overheats or my little minions damage it somehow. After a short time they stop sharpening and start eating the pencils! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if my comment worked?
ReplyDeleteI work in two classes. In the 4th grade class, the electric sharpener is so loud, clanky, and disruptive. The second grade classroom has a hand-crank sharpener that chews & breaks pencils. We need help! :-D
ReplyDeleteStandard sharpeners are so LOUD!!
ReplyDeleteI moved to a new classroom in a new school and don't have a pencil sharpener. I really need one for the coming year. Can't sharpener pencils without a pencil sharpener!
ReplyDeleteWould love to have this pencil sharpener:) thank you for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteA friend has one and I am tired of the loud electric sharpeners.
ReplyDeleteIt eats pencils!
ReplyDeleteIt's terrible with the cute pencils that my kids love so!
ReplyDeleteI have the old wall mount except it doesn't work. The kids and I both have to use crappy plastic sharpeners!
ReplyDeleteMine has a nick in the blade!!
ReplyDeleteThe $65 one that the school gave me last year already peetered out! I did not even let the kids use it! Crazy! I sharpened EVERY pencil last year and it still died! Would love to try this one! i keep hearing good things but cannot get my school to buy in.
ReplyDeleteMy old sharpener doesn't get the pencils sharp (like it should). I have to sharpen and sharpen and finally have a sharpened nub!
ReplyDeleteTHEY NEVER WORK! Then we spend half of our day trying to sharpen pencils!! The motorized ones break down, and the cheep plastic ones sharpen for about a day.
ReplyDeleteMy old electric sharpener is so loud and squeaky, I threw it away at the end of last school year.
ReplyDeletewould love to win one!
ReplyDeletepencil sharpeners are such a pain, would really like this1
ReplyDeleteI really despise my pencil sharpener because the handle keeps falling off!
ReplyDeleteI would love a sharpener that would actually work well! Thanks
ReplyDeleteI despise my electric pencil sharpener because it EATS all of the pencils. And the ones it does sharpen, they break two seconds after a child uses them.
ReplyDeleteThe old sharpeners don't last long - especially with children using them themselves.

I don't even have an electric pencil sharpener :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the PINK! My 5 yr is going to kindergarten this year and I dont have one pencil sharpener in the house! I need ONE!
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to have this in my classroom!!! More importantly, my firsties would LOVE this pencil sharpener =)!
ReplyDeleteI haaate the disruption that the electric pencil sharpeners cause and my students struggle to use the "old-fashioned" one without my help. This is every teacher's dream!
ReplyDeleteMy sharpener is loud and fills and breaks so easily... This one looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteHA! I had an electric sharpener for an entire day! It broke. I returned it. Got a new one. Next day, it broke. Uggghhhh! I used a little rinky dink hand sharpener:) Oh yucky!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have an old blue one and would love to add a pink to my collection! :)
ReplyDeleteI despise my old sharpener because it is in a very inconvenient place and is NOISY! It is also old and leave a black lead shaving mess on my clean waxed floor!
ReplyDeleteA NICE sharpener would sure help the school year go smoothly!
ReplyDeleteA new pencil sharpener...especially a quiet one would be fantastic to start the year :)
ReplyDeleteIt's true what they say...once you go QUIET, you never go back!
ReplyDeleteThe pencil sharpener in my room is pathetic!
ReplyDeleteThe one on the wall does not stay connected to the wall so it is not useable. My electric one I bought at Staples for $50 is noisy and always has some problem I have to fix. I have even tried to do all the sharpening but I just don't have the time.
ReplyDeleteIt will only sharpener nice pencils like Tichonderoga. Forget about the cheap ones!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, ever since I started teaching only small group, I have used a tiny hand held sharpener. No fun. I let them use a lot of markers!

I love the bright pink color!
ReplyDeleteI entered!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe constant humming and pencil shavings everywhere?? I would love a pretty pink one!
ReplyDeleteThe electric sharpener would easily eat up a box of new pencils!!
ReplyDeleteMy old pencil sharpener eats my pencils!! It's frustrating. :(

The wall sharpeners EAT the pencils!
ReplyDeleteThis sharpener would be fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteI disliked how the old sharpener would get clogged and then chew on the pencils.
ReplyDeleteMy pencil sharpeners eat my pencils.
ReplyDeleteMy pencil sharpener causes all of my pencils to break. So frustrating!
ReplyDeleteit's so LOUD!!! and the kids use it all the time because it doesn't sharpen, or it breaks the tips.
ReplyDeleteI despise my old sharpener because the motor died before the fall semester ended!
ReplyDeleteI have the old school...like 1981, pencil sharpener. No more need to explain. I have to show how to use it-like as if it were a tape player.
ReplyDeleteI did have electric pencil sharpeners but they didn't sharpen pencils very well... usually we had to do it the "Old-School" way by hand... takes a lot of time that could be used doing something else!!!
ReplyDeleteI have gone through so many pencil sharpeners! I've yet to find my favorite. I'm really intrigued about this one. My old one doesn't sharpen pencil well and it takes a long time. They also only last about a year before I get totally frustrated with it! With 31 kids, I need a really good sharpener!
ReplyDeleteMy old pencil sharpener is electric and it is noisy - when it works! It just quits and then a few days later will work again. I would LOVE to get rid of it!
ReplyDeleteI have heard so much about these sharpeners and would love to own one!
ReplyDeleteI am still using the one provided by the school and it takes forever to sharpen pencils
